We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Assistant Merchandiser Planner
to support the merchandising and planning teams in driving business performance. You will assist in forecasting, analyzing sales data, managing inventory, and supporting product assortment strategies to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the creation and execution of seasonal merchandise plans, sales forecasts, and inventory strategies.
Assist in monitoring sales performance, stock levels, and identifying opportunities for reorders or markdowns.
Coordinate with buying, allocation, and supply chain teams to manage product flow and availability.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, deliveries, and product performance.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports to support planning and merchandising decisions.
Contribute to range planning, pricing strategies, and promotional planning.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to help inform buying and planning strategies.
Support team with ad hoc analysis and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in merchandising, planning, buying, or a similar retail role (internships acceptable).
Strong numerical and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data reporting tools.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Passion for retail, product, and customer behavior.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
