Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interior Fit Out Junior Cost Estimator( to handle all Civil, MEP and Joinery )to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in estimating costs for interior fit-out projects, with the ability to accurately assess project requirements, analyze data, and prepare detailed cost estimates. The Interior Fit Out Estimator will play a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered within budgetary constraints while meeting quality standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed reviews of project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to understand project requirements and scope. Collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for cost estimation. Analyze project drawings, blueprints, and specifications to identify materials, labor, and equipment requirements. Utilize cost estimation software and tools to prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for interior fit-out projects. Research and obtain pricing for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services from suppliers and vendors. Evaluate historical data, industry trends, and market conditions to determine cost factors and develop cost models. Prepare cost breakdowns, quantity take-offs, and bill of quantities (BOQ) for use in project budgeting and planning. Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options to optimize project budgets without compromising quality. Present cost estimates to project stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members, and provide explanations and justifications as needed. Collaborate with procurement teams to negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost efficiencies.

Maintain accurate records of cost estimates, pricing data, and project documentation for future reference and analysis.

Monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle, tracking variances and adjusting estimates as necessary to ensure budget compliance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cost estimation for interior fit-out projects in UAE.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex project documents and drawings. Excellent mathematical and numerical abilities, with a thorough understanding of construction costs, pricing, and budgeting.

Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and regulations related to interior fit-out construction.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build positive relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications for data analysis and reporting
