Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Junior Architect to assist in the design, coordination, and production of architectural and technical drawings, with particular emphasis on interior fit-out and MEP integration. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality designs and ensure projects are completed on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Support the creation of architectural designs, CAD drawings, and 3D models for projects involving interior fit-out and MEP coordination. Collaborate with MEP engineers to seamlessly integrate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems within architectural plans. Assist senior architects and project managers with site coordination and overseeing construction activities. Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, safety standards, and project requirements. Participate in material selection processes and review shop drawings and technical submissions. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, confirm finishes, and address design-related challenges. Prepare client presentations, mood boards, and visual materials for design approvals. Maintain thorough and up-to-date project documentation, including RFIs, design changes, and client feedback.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related discipline. 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in architectural design, preferably with interior fit-out and MEP-integrated projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modeling tools such as SketchUp or Lumion. Solid understanding of MEP systems and their architectural integration. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Highly organized with keen attention to detail. Must be locally based in Qatar with a valid visa and QID.
