Role Summary
We are looking for a meticulous
Junior Accountant
to support our finance team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who is passionate about accounting and wants to grow in a dynamic retail jewellery environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconcile accounts.
Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and journals.
Support inventory accounting and stock reconciliations.
Prepare accounts receivable/payable reports.
Handle petty cash and bank reconciliations.
Support audit and compliance tasks.
Assist with payroll and statutory filings as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy.
Qualifications
Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
0-2 years of accounting experience (retail or jewellery sector a plus).
Strong MS Excel and accounting software skills (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP).
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
Attention to detail and strong numerical ability.
Good communication and organizational skills.
