Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Invoice Management: Prepare and send accurate customer invoices and credit memos, ensuring compliance with company policies and payment terms.

- Payment Processing: Record and apply customer payments, updating accounting records and account balances accordingly.

- Process and Document LCs & BGs: Assist in the creation, processing, and amendment of documentary LCs, standby LCs, and bank guarantees.

- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.

- Collections: Monitor outstanding invoices, send payment reminders, and follow up with customers on delinquent accounts.

- Customer Interaction: Address customer inquiries, resolve billing issues, and maintain positive relationships with clients.

- Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain and organize customer accounts and other relevant financial documentation.

- Reporting: Assist in generating weekly and monthly reports on AR activities and cash flow.

- Ad Hoc Support: Provide support to senior accountants and contribute to improving billing and collection processes.

Key Qualifications & Skills

Education

: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

Experience

: At least two years of relevant experience in an Accounts Receivable or Assistant Accountant role.

Analytical Skills

: Strong analytical ability to handle financial data and resolve discrepancies.

Attention to Detail

: Meticulousness in recording financial transactions and ensuring accuracy.

Communication

: Strong communication skills for interacting with clients regarding billing inquiries and payment collection.

Software Proficiency

: Proficiency in accounting software and strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, SAP B1
