We are a Joinery Manufacturing company and Turn-Key Interior Fit-out contractor based in Dubai and established in 2008. We are currently hiring for the position of Estimator / Quantity Surveyor. The position requires an experienced individual in Joinery and Fit-out Estimation.

Qualification:
The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in Joinery Estimation, and Quantity Surveying. Interior Fit-out experience is a plus.
Minimum B.Sc. or B.Tech Civil Engineering, BSc Arch or BSc. Interior Design,
Significant knowledge of Joinery, Decoration & Interior Fit-Out Estimation is a must.
Knowledge of POMI - Principles of Measurement (International) and MEP estimation is a definite plus.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Incumbent will be responsible to prepare the Estimates for Joinery and Turn-key Fit-out proposals as per the design & end user/consultant requirements.
Study the Contract agreement and highlights the technical risk and prepare the amendments based on company offer/terms.
Tendering based on tender/project documents and identify the qualified supplier and subcontractor to get the quotes for pricing. Preparing of detailed BOM, BOQ and rate analysis based on design, drawing and site survey.
Take off from the Drawing as per the requirements. Design brief for sub-contractor, supplier, and project team.
Evaluate / Coordinate with the project team and finance department on project scheduling, project accomplishment, invoicing, and receivables in accordance with set turnover targets.
Identify suitable vendors and float enquiries, prepare pre-qualified vendor database in consultation with the project team and participate in vendor selection meetings and confirm considerations with the procurement & project team.
Assist with procurement of all required materials and sub-contractors.
Valuation and invoice submission based on contract terms. Co-ordinate with the Client / Consultant / Designers / Operation & Project team / Pricing requirements.
Evaluate progress billing of subcontractors and prepare Monthly Valuations.
Monitor progress of work and evaluation of work accomplishments & prepare and submit claims for payment.
Prepare the daily and weekly accomplishment report as well as Project schedule, Histogram and Project Cash flow forecast.
Forecast weekly and monthly activities in accordance with project plan and required billable.
Visit site and check accomplishments from subcontractors and in-house work for valuation purposes.
Perform Site Survey at different stages of the project.
General control of variations and required change orders.
Assisting the Project team in any activity required as and when it arises.
Any other duties and responsibilities to carry out the work.
