Job Description
: As an IT Support Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining our company\xe2\x80\x99s IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and ensuring that technology-related issues are resolved promptly. You will work in a dynamic environment with a talented IT team, and your technical expertise will be essential for the continued success of our organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
- Set up and troubleshoot user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.
- Monitor and maintain network systems, servers, and other IT infrastructure components.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of IT projects, including system upgrades and deployments.
- Collaborate with team members to create and maintain documentation, knowledge bases, and standard operating procedures.
- Respond to service requests and help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure security measures, data backup, and disaster recovery processes are in place and effective.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or in a similar technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office, hardware troubleshooting, and operating systems.
- Familiarity with network technologies, including routers, switches, and VPN configurations.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection measures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with end-users.
