We are Looking for a IT support and System Administrator to support our Technical team in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Support & Maintenance Provide daily technical support to all departments (hardware, software, network, and peripherals). Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computers, printers, POS terminals, and other connected devices. Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems. Maintain and ensure regular system backups and data recovery procedures. Support users with account setup, password resets, and software access.
2. Network Administration Manage and monitor LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi connectivity, routers, and switches. Ensure reliable internet connections across all facility zones (bowling alley, arcade, offices, etc.). Monitor network performance and implement necessary upgrades or troubleshooting steps. Ensure cybersecurity measures are in place, including firewall, antivirus, and patch updates.
3. Systems & Server Management Administer servers (Windows/Linux) including user access, file sharing, and backup systems. Manage centralized storage and system logs. Schedule and monitor automatic system updates and patch management. Support integration of POS systems, ERP, and other management software.
4. Application & Hardware Support Oversee the functionality of entertainment equipment requiring IT integration (VR systems, arcade consoles, etc.). Coordinate with vendors for hardware maintenance, warranties, and software licenses. Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure documentation of serial numbers, configurations, and service records.
5. Security & Compliance Implement and maintain IT security policies and access controls. Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy standards. Regularly back up data and verify integrity of backups.
6. Planning & Reporting Assist in IT budgeting, procurement, and asset management. Recommend technology upgrades to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. Maintain records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN setup Familiarity with networking hardware (Cisco, Mikrotik, TP-Link, etc.)
Basic understanding of POS systems and ERP integration Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Knowledge of backup solutions and cybersecurity practices
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT support or system administration
