Job Description

Summary of the position: Administration of information technology (IT) services. fulfilling requirements and priorities while managing IT resources to ensure effective and efficient solutions, install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical and application problems. Responsibilities:

• Evaluating the needs of the company and choosing the most suitable software, hardware, and other IT requirements and ensuring all requirements are fulfilled.
• Directs and coordinates the implementation of IT operations, projects, and programs, ensuring alignment of IT services with the business needs and adherence to the company's principles and best management practices.
• Reviews vendor contracts and coordinates IT purchases (hardware, software and services) to ensure effective deployment of solutions aligned with user needs.
• Monitor the IT department's budget.
• Keep computer systems running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them.
• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
• Ensuring security of the physical and virtual components of Information Technology.
• Organizing data, storing them securely and creating backups.
• Replace parts as required (laptops, printers...)
• Support the roll-out of new applications.
• Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs.
• Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate) while prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.
• Test and evaluate new technologies and report to the management feedback about the effectiveness, benefits, disadvantages, and challenges.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in information technology or a similar field.
• 3-5 years of proven work experience in a similar role.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Sound technical knowledge about IT, security of systems.
• Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact with different parties to establish what the problem is and explain the solution.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Logical thinking.
