Our Engineering consultancy client has a new requirement for a number of well experienced Instrumentation & Control Inspectors for Industrial projects to join their team in Abu Dhabi. Successful candidates will have strong EICA Inspection experience on high profile projects in the UAE. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in consultancy companies on ADSSC projects previously This role is available for immediate joining and is for an initial 22 month fixed term contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting. Key Responsibilities:

• The job duties include the supervision / assistance of the following;
• Field Instrumentation
• Control System (PLCs/RTU etc)
• Security (Electronic and IT/OT Security)
• SCADA Hardware and Software
• Communication
• Practical knowledge of SCADA hardware and software as per ADSSC standard with operator workstations, PC engineering stations, Terminal bus station, plant bus system, servers, integration with other control centres, open platform communication protocols, communication hardware's, firewalls, storage, switches, rack cabinets, structured cabling, containment, licenses and firmware.
• Practical knowledge of communication system in all ADSSC assets with leased line fiber optic cabling ,GSM (3G/4G/5G) and radio communication as applicable
• Practical knowledge of RTU and HMI control panels, including CPU communication, interface and Input/output Modules of the station for process control mounted in the control room/electrical room. The I/O Modules including the required accessories to be mounted in the I/O cabinets.
• Extensive knowledge but not limited to level transmitter, level switches, flowmeters, gas detectors, pressure gauges, pressure switches, pressure transmitters, Dissolved Oxygen(DO sensors), Ph, H2O2, ORP, Turbidity, TSS, TDS, conductivity and all wastewater quality analysers, temperature sensors.
• Participate in testing and commissioning procedures, site configuration test documents in accordance with ADSSC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Instrumentation & Control Inspector Experience:

• Engineering degree or diploma in Electrical or I&C Engineering.
• 5-8+ years of relevant experience in construction supervision of Industrial Projects. At least 2 years in instrumentation and SCADA upgrade works
• Must have relevant experience working in a similar role in an engineering consultancy or supervision consultant.
• Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment
