Key Responsibilities:
Design, plan, and manage infrastructure works including roads, stormwater, sewer, and water systems
Oversee construction activities and ensure work aligns with engineering standards and project specifications
Prepare technical drawings, reports, and engineering documentation
Conduct site inspections and surveys to ensure design implementation and quality control
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and government agencies as required
Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines
Identify and resolve engineering issues on site
Ensure compliance with local and national construction codes and safety standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering within the construction industry
Proficient in civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, CivilStorm, etc.)
Strong understanding of infrastructure systems, site development, and municipal standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Valid engineering license or eligibility for registration [if applicable in your region]
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with large-scale infrastructure or public works projects
Knowledge of local regulations and permitting processes
PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
