Role Summary:

We are hiring a Costing Engineer to support tendering and project control by analyzing costs, preparing BOQs, and ensuring accurate budgeting across civil and MEP construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for ongoing and future projects. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and client requirements to estimate accurate costs. Work closely with the estimation, procurement, and planning teams to update unit rates and cost databases. Monitor cost trends and flag deviations from approved budgets. Support tender submissions and post-contract cost reviews. Maintain updated records of material/labor costs and subcontractor pricing.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in costing for construction projects (civil and/or MEP). Deep knowledge of material take-off, BOQs, and rate analysis. Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and costing/estimation software (e.g., Candy, CCS). Strong analytical and documentation skills. Experience with UAE market pricing and suppliers is a plus.

Salary: AED 10,000 - 15,000/month (depending on experience)
