HVAC SUPERVISOR
Job Title: HVAC Supervisor
Experience Level: Minimum 6-8 years (Supervisor Level)
Reporting To: Project Manager / Construction Manager
Job Summary:
The HVAC Supervisor is a leadership role responsible for the entire on-site HVAC installation scope. This individual will oversee all technical and administrative aspects of the HVAC team, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Overall Supervision: Plan, direct, and supervise all HVAC site activities, including ducting works, piping (chilled water & refrigerant), and equipment installation.
• Team Management: Manage a team of Senior Technicians, Technicians, and Fabricators. Assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, and conduct performance reviews.
• Technical Expertise: Provide expert-level technical guidance and resolve complex technical challenges on-site. Possess complete knowledge of HVAC systems (Chillers, VRF, Split AC, FCUs, AHUs, Ducting).
• Coordination & Planning: Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, client representatives, and other trade supervisors (Electrical, Plumbing, Civil). Attend coordination meetings.
• Quality Control & Inspection: Implement and enforce strict quality control procedures. Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work complies with drawings, specifications, and codes. Prepare for and facilitate client inspections.
• Progress Reporting: Monitor work progress against the project schedule and report daily/weekly updates to the Project Manager.
• Safety Leadership: Champion safety on-site. Conduct toolbox talks, ensure JSA (Job Safety Analysis) compliance, and investigate any incidents or near-misses.
• Resource Management: Manage manpower, tools, and materials. Raise material requisitions and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 6-8 years of HVAC experience, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of all aspects of HVAC installation (Ducting, Piping, Equipment).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, schematics, and project documents.
