Education Qualification:
Regular full-time
Diploma in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
from a recognized institute.
Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years
of hands-on experience in industrial HVAC systems, preferably in oil & gas or hazardous environments.
Candidates with previous experience in QAFCO
will be given preference.
Communication & Competencies:
Must score
at least 70%
in the written HVAC examination to qualify for interview and selection.
Proficiency in English
- ability to read, speak, and write effectively, including technical report writing.
Technical Competencies:
Knowledge of
HVAC principles, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
Expertise in
diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing
, and replacing components in large HVAC systems
Familiarity with
industrial-grade HVAC equipment and controls
Ability to read and interpret
mechanical drawings and electrical wiring diagrams
Experience with
415V control circuits
and
PLC interfaces
Knowledge of
pressurization systems
in hazardous areas
Understanding of
filtration systems
for dust, chemicals, and odors
Installation, inspection, and commissioning of HVAC systems integrated with plant monitoring
Ability to
work independently under limited supervision
Willingness to be
on-call
as part of a rotation for emergencies and breakdowns
Welding and soldering skills
Comfortable working in
challenging environments
(e.g. extreme weather)
Conducting or attending
toolbox talks
Proficiency in
MS Office
for progress reporting
HSEQ Competencies:
Familiar with
hazard area classification
, safe handling of
hazardous chemicals and pressurized gases
Knowledge of
Work Permit / Work Clearance systems
in large-scale process industries
