HSE Officer - Vehicle Safety & Mobilization Support (IMMEDIATE JOINER)
with OIL AND GAS EXPERIENCE

Job Purpose:
The HSE Officer will oversee vehicle safety and mobilization activities to ensure full compliance with company and regulatory HSE standards. The role involves inspecting vehicles in the yard and at project sites, conducting safety briefings for drivers, and supporting the HSE team with documentation for tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections of vehicles in the yard and at project sites to identify any safety or compliance issues.
Report vehicle faults or safety concerns promptly to the relevant departments and follow up on corrective actions.
Provide
pre-mobilization HSE orientations
and
road safety briefings
to drivers.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle inspections, driver orientations, and safety compliance.
Assist in the preparation and submission of HSE-related documents and reports required for
tenders and client audits
.
Coordinate with workshop and transport teams to ensure all corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Participate in
incident investigations
related to vehicle operations and recommend corrective actions.
Verify the availability and functionality of all
vehicle safety equipment
(fire extinguishers, first aid kits, seat belts, warning triangles, etc.).
Support overall HSE compliance within
transport and mobilization activities
.
Promote a
safety-first culture
among drivers and site personnel.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in
HSE, Mechanical Engineering
, or a related field.
NEBOSH IGC
or equivalent HSE certification preferred.
Minimum
3 years of experience
in an HSE role, preferably in
oil & gas
,
vehicle safety
, or
logistics operations
.
Solid knowledge of
UAE road safety regulations
and vehicle compliance standards.
Experience in
HSE documentation for tenders
is an advantage.
UAE Driving License
preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong attention to detail with a proactive, safety-first mindset.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and perform field/site visits.
Proficiency in
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
.
Team-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
