Job Description

We are seeking a qualified

HSE Engineer

with an

engineering degree

and valid

Trakhees approval

to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance on our construction projects. The role involves implementing HSE plans, conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with Trakhees and UAE safety regulations, and promoting a safe work environment for all personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain the

Project HSE Plan

in compliance with

Trakhees regulations

, UAE labor laws, and company standards. Conduct

risk assessments

,

job safety analysis (JSA)

, and hazard identification for construction activities. Monitor day-to-day site operations to ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards. Conduct

regular site safety inspections

, audits, and walk-throughs, and enforce corrective actions. Lead

incident investigations

and ensure proper documentation, reporting, and follow-up of all incidents and near-misses. Deliver

HSE induction

, training, and

daily toolbox talks

to site personnel and subcontractors. Ensure all site staff use proper

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

and follow established safety protocols. Maintain comprehensive records of safety inspections, permit-to-work (PTW) systems, incident logs, and training records. Coordinate with

Trakhees inspectors

during audits, inspections, and document submissions. Promote a proactive safety culture across the project and actively participate in safety committee meetings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

(Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent).

Valid Trakhees Approval/ID

as an HSE Engineer (mandatory).

NEBOSH IGC

certified (required). Additional HSE certifications such as

IOSH

,

OSHA

,

First Aid

, or

Fire Safety

are a plus. Minimum

3-5 years of HSE experience

in the construction industry, with at least 1-2 years in UAE. Strong understanding of

UAE and Dubai Municipality safety regulations

, especially

Trakhees requirements

. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office and HSE documentation systems.
