Job Description

The Senior HSE Engineer will be responsible for managing, implementing, and monitoring the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) systems across villa and high-rise construction projects in compliance with

Dubai Municipality (DM)

and

Trakhees / EHS / Civil Defense

regulations. The role requires an experienced professional with a proven track record in ensuring safe construction practices and obtaining all necessary authority approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the company's

HSE Management System

in line with

ISO 45001

and

ISO 14001

standards. Prepare project-specific

HSE Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments

for villa and high-rise projects. Conduct

daily site inspections

to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company safety policies. Liaise with

Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, EHS, Civil Defense, DEWA, and other local authorities

to secure and maintain necessary HSE approvals. Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement effective control measures to prevent incidents and ensure safe operations. Lead and participate in

incident investigations

and prepare detailed root cause analysis reports with corrective and preventive actions. Conduct

HSE induction, toolbox talks, and training sessions

for staff and subcontractors to promote safety awareness. Monitor subcontractors' HSE performance and ensure alignment with project HSE requirements. Prepare and submit

weekly and monthly HSE reports

to management and authorities as required. Ensure emergency preparedness plans, fire prevention systems, and first aid measures are in place and effective. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety culture across all project sites.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree

in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or equivalent).

Minimum 8-12 years of HSE experience

in the construction industry, with at least

5 years in Dubai

.

Strong project experience

in

villa developments and high-rise building construction

.

Certifications:

NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) -

Mandatory

IOSH Managing Safely / OSHA Certification -

Preferred

ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 Internal Auditor -

Local Approvals:

Must hold or be eligible for approval as a

Safety Engineer / HSE Engineer

from

Dubai Municipality (DM)

and

Trakhees / EHS

. In-depth knowledge of

Dubai and UAE HSE laws
