Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive HSE Advisor to lead our Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives for a construction operation, with a particular focus on high-rise building projects. This position plays a critical role in fostering a safety-driven culture, ensuring full compliance with UAE regulations, statutory requirements, and international standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

As HSE Advisor, you will spearhead the development, implementation, and continual enhancement of HSE systems for a project site. You will serve as both a strategic advisor and technical authority, ensuring the integration of safety and environmental best practices throughout every stage of construction.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage company-wide HSE policies and procedures aligned with local regulatory requirements Trakhees and international standards.

Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards across all construction sites.

Lead site-level HSE planning for high-rise buildings, including pre-construction risk assessments, activity-specific safety plans (lifting, scaffolding, confined space, etc.), and Emergency Response Plans.

Conduct and oversee audits, inspections, and detailed risk assessments; identify gaps and ensure timely implementation of corrective/preventive actions.

Manage and oversee the incident and accident investigation process using root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 5-Whys, Fishbone); ensure lessons learned are shared and implemented.

Lead, mentor, and continuously develop the site-based HSE team; ensure technical support, training, and professional development pathways.

Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and QA/QC teams to embed a culture of "Safety First" throughout operations.

Define, track, and analyze HSE KPIs (e.g., TRIR, LTI, Near Miss Frequency) and report findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships including regulatory bodies, consultants, and client representatives to support company-wide HSE goals.
