Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies for academic and non-academic roles
Work with department heads to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions
Manage the full recruitment cycle including posting, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offer negotiation
Ensure recruitment practices are inclusive, equitable, and compliant with institutional policies
Represent the institution at job fairs, university career events, and other outreach activities
Maintain applicant tracking systems and prepare reports on recruitment metrics
Collaborate with HR and leadership on onboarding strategies and workforce planning
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field (Master's preferred)
3+ years of recruitment experience, ideally in a university or educational setting
Proven success in filling academic and administrative roles
Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of hiring regulations and compliance in education
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a university's HR or recruitment office
Knowledge of faculty hiring processes and academic career tracks
