Job Brief:

Our client is currently looking to recruit an HR Manager to be based in Dubai. The role will be responsible for operating, providing, and implementing the various human resources and administration functions of the company. The role will require the day-to-day management and administration of the operations, its staff, and any tasks/objectives deemed necessary by the company relative to these areas.

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage the processes in relation to visa-related documentation, including but not limited to employment visas, medicals, labor cards and contracts, residence visas, Emirates IDs, etc.

- Take full responsibility for updating the employee and HR & Immigration database to track and follow up on ongoing activities.

- Prepare all necessary documentation for the onboarding and off-boarding of all employees and monitor to ensure tasks are completed within required timeframes.

- Advise on related laws, restrictions and regulations, procedures, and updates on government regulations and initiatives related to the UAE labour law and law governing the employees in the respective Jurisdiction.

- Provide management with regular reports as agreed and make suggestions of relevant information to support the business.

- Maintain HR personnel files, ensuring that all appropriate documents are stored securely, both electronically and in hard copy.

- Research and choose job advertising options.

- Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques.

- Recommend ways to improve our employer brand.

- Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs, experience with interviews, candidate screening, and evaluation.

- Familiarity with social media and other professional networks (LinkedIn, etc.).

Job Requirements:

- 7-10 years of experience in the field of HR; with 3 years of experience as an HR Manager in the UAE.

- Experience in defining, implementing, and managing HR policies and procedures.

- Experience in using HR Systems (examples - Oracle, SAP, etc.).

- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrable skills in database. management and record keeping.

- Strong skills in Advanced Excel.

- Excellent knowledge of UAE employment laws and practices.

- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.

- Demonstrable organizational, interpersonal, and coaching skills.

- Be an effective communicator with good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with staff at all levels.

- Be commercially aware and take a practical, solution-focused approach.

- Be proactive and able to manage a heavy workload with conflicting priorities.

- Be adaptable and a quick learner who takes ownership of the work assigned and seeks out ways to make improvements.

- Be exceptionally well organized and have a keen attention to detail.

- Strong decision-making skills.
