Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing employee records, handling attendance and payroll, and ensuring smooth HR administrative functions. This role requires a strong understanding of HR practices in the UAE, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, track, and update employee attendance records. Manage leave applications, ensure proper documentation, and enforce leave policies in compliance with UAE labor laws.
Collect and verify attendance data for payroll processing. Coordinate with the accounts department to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursements, overtime calculations, and deductions.
Assist in maintaining up-to-date employee files, including contracts, leave balances, disciplinary records, and other HR documents. Ensure all HR files are securely stored and easily accessible when needed.
Assist in communicating and enforcing company HR policies and procedures. Act as the first point of contact for employee HR-related queries.
Generate regular reports on attendance, turnover, and payroll summaries using Microsoft Excel tools, formulas, and charts for management review.
Support day-to-day HR operations, coordinate with other departments, and assist in department activities when required.
Requirements:
2 - 3 years of UAE experience in a similar HR role
Higher education qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with a good understanding on financial principles
Strong knowledge of leave management and payroll systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
Good communication and organizational skills
Experience in a Retail & FMCG environment is a plus
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a higher level of accuracy in a fast-moving retail environment.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,200.00 per month

Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
