Monitor staff performance and provide feedback or corrective action when necessary.
Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to meet operational needs.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and compliance with standards.
Address any deficiencies and ensure timely corrections.
Maintain records of inspections, maintenance issues, and inventory.
Monitor and order cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities to ensure adequate stock.
Control expenses by minimizing waste and optimizing resource usage.
Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals and equipment.
Respond to guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
Coordinate with front desk, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Conduct daily briefings with housekeeping staff to communicate priorities and updates.
Enforce health, safety, and sanitation policies (OSHA, CDC, or property-specific guidelines).
Report maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing, electrical) to the engineering department.
Ensure lost-and-found procedures are followed.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years in housekeeping, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role (hospitality, healthcare, or residential preferred).
