is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a household to ensure it runs smoothly, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role combines administrative, organizational, and hands-on duties, often requiring discretion, flexibility, and excellent people-management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Household Operations
Manage the overall functioning of the residence, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and upkeep.
Create and maintain household schedules, calendars, and task lists.
Oversee household budgets, expenses, and inventories.
Staff Management (if applicable)
Organize staff schedules and ensure proper coverage for daily operations.
Conduct performance reviews and resolve staff-related issues.
Property & Maintenance
Coordinate with service providers, contractors, and vendors for repairs, renovations, and regular maintenance.
Ensure all systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) are in good working condition.
Maintain security and safety protocols for the household.
Event & Guest Management
Plan and oversee household events, dinners, or gatherings.
Manage guest accommodations and hospitality services.
Ensure discretion and professional service when dealing with family members, visitors, and VIP guests.
Administrative Duties
Handle household accounts, bill payments, and financial reporting.
Maintain household manuals, vendor contracts, and important documents.
Arrange travel logistics, reservations, and transportation as needed.
