Job Description

Develop and implement project control strategies, frameworks, and best practices to ensure effective planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management. Oversee the preparation and management of project baseline schedules, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and corporate objectives. Establish and maintain a robust cost control system, tracking project budgets, expenditures, forecasts, and variances to ensure financial discipline. Monitor project performance using earned value management (EVM), key performance indicators (KPIs), and variance analysis to drive data-driven decision-making. Lead risk management efforts by identifying potential project risks, assessing their impact, and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions. Ensure seamless integration between planning, cost control, procurement, and contract management teams for efficient project execution. Develop and maintain project control policies, procedures, and reporting structures to enhance transparency and governance. Conduct forensic schedule analysis and delay assessments to support claims management and dispute resolution processes. Provide executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations to senior management, highlighting project health, trends, and corrective actions. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align project control functions with operational and strategic goals. Implement advanced project control software and digital tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation in reporting and analysis. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by benchmarking performance, identifying gaps, and adopting best practices from industry leaders. Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements in all aspects of project control. Lead, mentor, and develop the project control team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
