Our client, a growing and dynamic organisation is looking for a Head of Planning and Development to join their team in Abu Dhabi to be responsible for overseeing the implementation and development of strategies for the organisation.

The role:

0 Develop and/or update the entity\'s message, vision and values, and ensure implementation across all programs and transactions
- Set a 3-year budget, in accordance with strategic priorities and operational model
- Develop institutional planning tools and models to ensure consistent implementation of the Department\'s strategy
- Supervise research, studies and reviewing complex analyses, including supply, demand, performance, resource gaps, lessons learned, best practices, future aspirations, strategic trends and opportunities, and challenges
- Report adjustments to be made to executives or managers responsible for submitting operating plans, initiative and annual budget, as well as cooperate in prioritizing the selected components of plans, with the aim of ensuring that regulatory capacity constraints are aligned
- Oversee the development of KPIs and key performance objectives, with the aim of enabling effective monitoring of initiatives and progress in the implementation of plans
- Identify strategically influential partnerships in ADS operations, with the aim of enabling the implementation of the strategy and submitting it for decision-making
- Request updates on the needs rules for strategic initiatives led by other departments and/or government agencies in Abu Dhabi
- Identify or update the organizational structure, operational model and management model of the Office
- Provide guidance to the marketing team regarding marketing strategy and initiatives
- Supervising periodic market assessments with the aim of ensuring that the service offers are relevant to the needs of the community
- Work with the strategy and marketing team to understand business requirements (content, IT tools such as MIS, customer relations, etc.) of the digital platforms on a regular basis, as well as overseeing the transformation of business requirements into technical requirements
- Working as a business partner for the Office, as well as overseeing the development, improvement and maintenance of the digital platform (website, mobile application)
- Overseeing the Office\'s digital services team to identify and ensure IT requirements (IT infrastructure, applications, policies, data security, data management, etc.)

Requirements:

- UAE National with a Family Book
- 8+ years of practical experience in strategic planning & development, at least four years of which are in a supervisory position, preferably within government and private sectors
- Bachelor\'s degree in economics, business administration or any of the relevant areas
- Experience presenting to Senior Stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
