A commercial-stage, rapidly developing and innovative international biopharmaceutical company is now seeking to hire a Senior Director to oversee their legal and compliance operations in Germany.
Reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance International, this dual operational and strategic role will support the setup and development of the newly established German affiliate (and potentially beyond) in all legal and compliance matters, with an initial focus on a regional product launch. Responsibilities will include corporate law and governance, employment law, litigation and disputes, transactions, and the development, promotion, and marketing of products, including local compliance and regulatory issues.
You will be a qualified German lawyer with significant experience in the life sciences sector, including experience working for another pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device organisation. Prior experience with pharmaceutical (or related) product launches in the region is also required, as is knowledge of German pharma codes and regulations. This key role also requires a business focussed, hands-on self-starter who can work and communicate effectively in a developing, highly collaborative, and team-oriented environment.
