POSITION OVERVIEW
The Head of F&B Development is part of the Global Food and Beverage Development Team. The primary function of this role is to lead the development of new and existing F&B projects, create new concepts and develop brand standards in the Middle East and Asia Region. The focus of this team is to oversee all F&B development of the Aman strategic development of the F&B concepts across the group.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Head of F&B Development is part of the Global Food and Beverage Development Team. The primary function of this role is to lead the development of new and existing F&B projects, create new concepts and develop brand standards in the Middle East and Asia Region. The focus of this team is to oversee all F&B development of the Aman strategic development of the F&B concepts across the group.
The team develops new concepts for restaurants and bars within Aman. Projects are for examples re-launches to invigorate existing restaurants and F&B operations, supporting the design and technical team in both hotel openings as well as renovations in existing hotels, and developing independent restaurant brands, co-partnerships, retail, and online services.

The Head of F&B Development is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the F&B Development and projects, which includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Establishes F&B business plan by conducting market research- Create presentation decks, fact sheets and concept briefs
- Space planning with various teams
- Building new brands and concepts with the marketing team and Head of F&B Development Americas & Europe
- Working with the Head of F&B Development of Americas & Europe on standardizing
- Space and equipment planning with kitchen consultants
- Optimize operational flow
- Working with internal regional design and technical service team, follow up on timeline and deadlines
- Work with the corporate opening team on preopening planning, budgets and manning
- Development of new F&B menus
- Maintaining the established organisation and filing tools and keep them up to date.
- Lead projects, keep tracking, necessary action and updating reports as progress is made
- Creative input into new and existing developments from a design and functional thinking perspective
- Lead in coordination and review of F&B related FFE & OSE with all parties concerned
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the Hotel and F&B industry; attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices

QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous work experience in the hospitality industry ideally in corporate environment
- Extensive experience in F&B operations and program marketing
- Considerable experience in various levels of F&B development with design-oriented thinking
- Experience in luxury hospitality operation is a must as is previous experience in handling confidential information
- Strong organizational skills - the ability to multi-task & document your work is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - you will be working with people at all levels and in a variety of industries: Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Development, Design, Finance, Kitchen Consultants, etc
- Acute attention to detail and focus on follow up and through
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with strong initiative and self-direction
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Able to travel to various locations and maintain semi-flexible hours to accommodate occasional early/late meetings and job site visits
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Computer proficiency a must, with a strong knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint and CAD
