Head of Employee Support Services- SDT (EE Only) Would you like to be part of our team .We currently have a vacancy as Head of Employee Support Services Advert closing on 01.03.2023 Location: Riyadh Grade: GG14 JOB OBJECTIVE: The Head of Employee Support Services works as a key member of the functional management team with a requirement to interpret both group and business strategy and develop & implement effective employee and business services strategies, solutions, policies and procedures across a range of employing entities who contract for business services in order to directly support delivery of business objectives. The role assures the quality & performance of outcomes through a variety of direct and indirectly led business services and employee services reports and management of key internal and external stakeholders. At this level the role requires broad business knowledge, excellent employee support services knowledge, and experience of other functional areas, plus an appreciation of the wider business, market and competitor environments. The Head of Employee Support Services will use considerable experience and judgement to assimilate often conflicting inputs from a range of sources in order to make appropriate and timely decisions that impact positively upon business and employee performance. The role holder will lead and shape the future development of Employee Support Services. The Head of Employee Support Services can be called upon to deliver tasks and activities commensurate with their necessary skill set.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: The role has direct prime accountability for the quality and timeliness of all employee support services and indirect accountability for wider business services delivered across KSA and into KPC's through a team of Heads of Support Services at each location and in accordance with the stated vision, mission and strategy of the function. The services cover medical, accommodation & workplace, employee services, and indirect procurement service streams. The role also acts as the employee services stream lead which assures and governs through the deployment of policies and procedures, all employee services delivered by and through the employee support services managers across KSA, predominantly those services required for expatriates and their sponsored dependants along with the associated complexities. Full details are as described in the published employee services menu including, but is not limited to, travel, education, expat transport, fleet services, expatriate induction and onboarding, residents' management including residency standards, expat health insurance, duty officer services as well as a range of other associated expatriate life-cycle support services. Primary interface with the Business Service senior stakeholders including Programme Directors, functional Vice Presidents, and KPC CEO's in relation to the performance of business services. Influencing stakeholder groups to ensure growth of business shared services customers particularly through BAE Systems KPCs, MODSAP and BAESSA sub-contractors. Contribute/lead the strategic delivery and setup of all Business Services. Required to attend and report business services performance to VP Operations and to Management Board level through QFR and other senior company stakeholder review meetings will hold appropriate levels of DOA covering areas of responsibility. The role is primarily based in Riyadh but will be responsible through the Head of Support Services for all locations across KSA. Will lead numerous service assurance activities internally and with outsourced external providers. Line Management responsibility for Head of Support Services in KSA and functional stream lead of employee services.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION: The role would typically require a degree / master's degree in business administration or related discipline.

Minimum of 10 years of business support services type experience, 5 years of which is in a management/leadership role in a mid-size organization preferably in the aviation/defence industry.

Has an in depth understanding of support services concepts and procedures within own support services technical/ subject area areas and a good working knowledge of other areas.

Ability to design and implement processes, tools, procedures, solutions and services related to support services activity and service delivery. Role requires a broad and comprehensive understanding in multiple key functional areas relevant to the business. Managerial positions require an understanding of underlying business principles and the impact of regulatory requirements. The role is expected to establish strategic plans that require sound understanding of the underlying theories underpinning the subject area.

The role requires a comprehensive understanding of how it contributes to achieving the objectives of the business. Also required is a comprehensive knowledge of the industry in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business. This includes enabling the organisation to differentiate itself from the competition.

The role has full management of numerous teams. There will be financial accountability for sizeable independent budgets. Management at this level implies the leadership of a sizeable team of managers and professionals across KSA.

The role evaluates (sometimes complex) situations using multiple sources of information referring to a diverse range of internal/external sources such as procedures and practices. The complexity implied relate to the ability to filter, prioritise, analyse and validate potentially complex and dynamic material.

The role has an impact on the business by exercising control over resources, policy formulation and planning. They have accountability for end results.
