Job Description

:

Providing guidance and technical inputs for all approved plans, supervising the daily work of contracting companies to provide public cleaning services, following up the implementation of works according to the approved scope of work, and ensuring compliance with the relevant laws and regulations to control and organize performance monitoring procedures in service areas while adhering to the standards, policies, and procedures of the department. Ensure the development of the compliance system and tools of systems and user equipment, develop the best approaches and methods to deal with project implementation monitoring activities.

\xc2\xa7 Directing and managing the department\'s staff in accomplishing their tasks.

\xc2\xa7 Define and monitor the goals, objectives, and operational programs of the department.

\xc2\xa7 Prepare reports on the overall performance of the department and submit them to the director of the department.

\xc2\xa7 Review all periodic reports prepared by the department to ensure that they are completed within the specified time frames.

\xc2\xa7 Review all services and work of the department and ensure their quality.

\xc2\xa7 Ensure that the performance of all tasks and the conduct of employees are consistent with the policies and procedures of the Department of Municipalities and Transport.

\xc2\xa7 Inform the Director of the Department of the progress of the work listed under his department.

\xc2\xa7 Ensure that all resources have the competencies and skills required to perform the department\'s tasks.

\xc2\xa7 Review and discuss ambiguities and the evaluation process with evaluators, if needed, and approve periodic evaluations of department staff.

\xc2\xa7 Identify the required skills and experience and nominate the nominated employees to attend the appropriate training programs.

\xc2\xa7 Ensure that the department\'s policies and procedures are documented and adhered to.

\xc2\xa7 Identify technological needs that ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of the department\'s operations in coordination with the concerned department.

\xc2\xa7 Completion of work programs on time and taking measures to correct their course; Determining quality standards for work and ensuring that the Department\'s employees adhere to them, analysing and planning the training and development needs of employees; Guiding and evaluating the performance of the Department\'s employees.

\xc2\xa7 Directing the activities of the department\'s employees to ensure the implementation of the approved policies and procedures for the activities of providing public cleaning services in all regions of the Emirate. This includes defining the tasks of the inspection and follow-up teams with the team leaders to ensure that the work programs are completed on time by reviewing periodic reports on the progress of work and taking measures to correct any omissions or irregularities; and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

\xc2\xa7 Supervise the preparation of action plans and monitor performance in the various regions of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. These programs cover general cleaning work, in addition to automatic sweeping and manual sweeping services for streets, tunnels and other public facilities. In accordance with the approved frames of reference to achieve the strategy and objectives of the department in this regard.

\xc2\xa7 Approving work procedures and ensuring that they are distributed to all teams and providing the necessary advice to teams on methods of implementing, planning and coordinating the progress of executive and procedural processes and reviewing the results to ensure that they are in line with the instructions in force and the instructions issued in this regard, including adopting procedures to ensure the implementation of compliance control programs and processes In the different regions, provide the necessary guidance for the implementation and follow-up of the progress of operations within the concerned groups, and review and evaluate the results and performance to ensure their consistency with the approved policies, directives and action plans.

\xc2\xa7 Monitor the performance of the resources used that require technical follow-up and periodic reports, evaluate their performance and approve the necessary adjustments in light of field practices, approve the proposals of subordinates to amend technical manuals and standard operating procedures.

\xc2\xa7 Supervising and controlling the preparation of the department\'s budget, setting work procedures and methods, performance indicators and standards, and proposing means of continuous improvement and development.

\xc2\xa7 Submit periodic reports that include a presentation of the department\'s achievements, comparing performance indicators, data and statistics, obstacles and difficulties encountered, measures taken to overcome them, and any suggestions or recommendations for the development and improvement of work; Enhance community participation by working closely with stakeholders.

\xc2\xa7 Ensure the continuation of study and access to developments in the field of work in particular to submit proposals to update work methods and procedures or amend the established work plans and programs.

\xc2\xa7 Ensure the development of the department\'s database and the necessary systems.

\xc2\xa7 Monitoring the performance of the implementation of contracts by contracting companies against contractual obligations and contracts concluded

\xc2\xa7 Develop corrective actions to address any recurring problems and review and develop business continuity plans and tools

\xc2\xa7 Management System Requirements/Certificates in Concluded Contracts

\xc2\xa7 Monitor non-compliance and breach of contractual terms and ensure the implementation of criminal procedures with those concerned with project management values

\xc2\xa7 Develop a KPI management system and sanctions matrices and review the service delivery plan and description

\xc2\xa7 Review reports, recordings, data recovery and archiving requirements, and stakeholder satisfaction reports

Requirements

\xc2\xa7 Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration or equivalent , preferably a Master\'s degree.

\xc2\xa7 Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a similar field of employment

\xc2\xa7 Knowledge of the policies and procedures of the public hygiene system

\xc2\xa7 Planning and follow-up

\xc2\xa7 Knowledge of compliance standards

\xc2\xa7 Project Management

\xc2\xa7 Arabic Language Skills

\xc2\xa7 English Language Skills

\xc2\xa7 Computer literacy
