Job Description

NTS Group is working exclusively alongside one of the regions leading and fastest growing pharmaceutical companies to recruit a Head of Commercial KSA & GCC. This position is based in Riyadh, KSA and is a key strategic leadership position responsible to promote and expand the commercial activity that will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth. This will be achieved by developing and implementing commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth, conducting market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities and understanding the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met. Responsibilities Include;
  • Retain a real business relation with main customers & consumer partner.
  • Build a network with potential clients to introduce services & products & sign new agreements opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Foster mutually beneficial relationships and contracts with stakeholders across key accounts, distributors and tender authorities to achieve long-term business growth and sustainability.
  • Searching for new business development growth opportunities and conduct internal due diligence studies providing recommendations for the business.
  • Developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to maintain momentum in revenue growth and market share captivation.
  • Proposing an overall budget plan and forecast updates to ensure business success through the delivery of volumes, revenue, margin and profit contribution targets.
  • Identifying long term growth opportunities by suggesting new ideas and/or specifying market requirements for complementary future products.
  • Conducting market research and customer surveys/interviews in support of suggested business development initiatives.
  • Keeps up to date with new & changing market trends, intellectual property laws, and the regulatory legislation.
  • Join the organizational steering committee with active participation in the country management committee and council meetings, to improve operational efficiency, empower teams and enhance cross-functional collaboration and productivity.
  • Stock monitoring in market and to market sales for all the GCC and KSA.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Pharmaceutical Science.
  • Master in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent is a must, having the master from a world ranking school is a big plus.
  • 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with commercial background, should have at least 10 years a strong exposure in business development and leadership in KSA.
  • An excellent background of the regulatory and legal context within which businesses operate.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and great leadership skills.
  • Creative strategist with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset
  • In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis.
  • Proven experience in leading business in GCC markets and achieving/exceeding objectives.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional and multi-cultural team.
