- stay on top of the latest technologies, know what works best, and recommend smart purchases.
Make strategic
buy vs. rent
decisions for equipment and ensure we're getting the best value.
Build, train, and lead
an elite technical crew - from hiring to ongoing development and mentorship.
Serve as the ultimate
"fix-it" hero
- step in and solve issues when things go sideways (because they will).
Who You Are:
A true AV pro - You've spent years hands-on with audio, video, lighting, and streaming gear.
A leader, not just a doer - You've successfully managed teams for live events, concerts, or major productions.
Budget-smart - You know how to source the right gear at the right price, without sacrificing quality.
A teacher at heart - You love sharing your knowledge and helping your crew level up.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a senior AV technical role, ideally in a leadership capacity.
Industry certifications like CTS, Dante, or through AVIXA.
Experience running hybrid events (in-person + live stream).
Solid vendor connections to help score great gear at better prices.
Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
Strong project management and team leadership skills.
