We are looking for a Head of Aircraft Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) - product support for a permanent employment with a cutting-edge civil and military aircraft manufacturer based in Abu Dhabi. JOB DESCRIPTION : The role of the Head of Aircraft Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) /product support will be to bring his/her expertise to a new aircraft development program to implement the strategy to ensure maintainability, reliability, testability (RMT), reduced life-cycle costs (LCC), and improved availability. This strategy is starting from guidance provided to engineering team for an optimum design to theplanning and development of an optimized support for the Aircraft future operators to assure its maximum availability throughout its usage. Reporting to Aircraft Program Manager, the candidate will:
- Support the design with crucial guidance for the best architecture to optimize ILS.
- Support the production and operations to guarantee that the system is adapted to the operational concept.
- Ensure correct organization to guarantee that required spare partsare diligently planned for and administered to ensure availabilityat all times until the system is phased out.
- Comply with international specifications and standards.
- Set-up comprehensive technical documentation, data base formaterial management, training, preparation for the In-Service Supportphase as well as obsolescence managementfor theoperational phase.
- Ensure Cost Control throughout the product life-cycle.
- Team management & reporting to Company\xe2\x80\x99s higher management
- BEng in Aerospace or Master of Aerospace Engineering
- 10-15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Aeronautics with strong Integrated Logistics Support
- Excellent presentation and communication capabilities in English
- Interface with client, company higher management, suppliers
- Experience or abilities to lead a team.
- Ideally experience of working in a fast-paced environment with multicultural team
