I am looking for a highly experienced and ITIL qualified Head of System Development & Applications Support to join a leading Arab bank headquartered in Muscat, Oman.

I am looking for a highly experienced and ITIL qualified Head of System Development & Applications Support to join a leading Arab bank headquartered in Muscat, Oman.
As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing and leading the development, implementation, and support of various banking applications and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the development and maintenance of banking applications and systems.
- Lead and manage a team of developers and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications and services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, including ITIL methodologies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth integration of applications and systems.
- Manage the budget and resources for the development and support of applications and systems.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and external service providers.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of banking applications and systems, including core banking systems, internet banking, and mobile banking.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in system development and applications support within the banking industry.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of successfully managing teams and delivering projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- ITIL V3 Foundation certification.
