The job holder is responsible for strategically and proactively engaging key internal and external stakeholders through integrated communications, public relations, and social media initiatives to build and enhance Group reputation. The roles & responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Corporate Communication \xe2\x80\x93 Internal and External
Development and execution of corporate communications strategies and initiatives in alignment with key business priorities and company\xe2\x80\x99s vision to ensure share of voice in the market.
Leadership & C-suite counsel and profiling to position the Group strategically as a subject matter expert.
Provides strategic communication counsel and advisor to the Executive Committee (ExCom) and top management.
Manage & lead targeted communication initiatives across all levels of internal and external audiences, ensuring relevant message delivery and positive impact.
Drive employer branding initiatives to better position Landmark Group as a preferred choice of employer.
Build and enhance corporate identity and branding through design, frameworks, and guidelines.
Support cross-functional communications and messaging including CSR & Sustainability, Supply Chain, Digital and Finance
Public Relations, Media, and External Affairs
Oversee public relations including controlled news announcements, press releases, crisis communication to ensure the Group\xe2\x80\x99s leading share of voice in the market.
Develop and track effectiveness of communications, PR, and social media programs.
Build, advise and implement crisis communications frameworks to ensure seamless business continuity and Group reputation.
Lead Media training of select executives as spokespersons of the group.
Remain aware of industry trends, products and best practices and apply them to group strategies as appropriate.
Enhance industry networking to maintain close relations with government bodies, partners, and trade associations to ensure Group is appropriately represented and benefits from strategic partnerships.
Maintain national protocol and strategic positioning of the Group
Event Planning and Management
Ideate, plan and organize large-scale events for the organization and leadership teams ensuring high engagement
Design detailed event plans including the scope, themes, venues, and budgets
Ensure the events are branded and marketed relevantly to target audience
12-15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Corporate Communications with proven ability to deliver results.
Experience in Retail/Consumer Industry preferred.
Ability to prioritize and drive multiple projects through highly effective organizational skills in a deadline driven environment.
Should demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to convey the message in a succinct and concise way
Ability to be a strategic counsellor to senior leaders, considering the bigger picture of the business, the marketplace, and the competition
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, and can translate big ideas into successful campaigns & events that drive results
Empathetic leader with competency to build & develop strong teams
Multi geography/GCC exposure & knowledge of Arabic language is preferred.
