Our client, a dynamic government company, is looking for a Head of Corporate Communications to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing and guiding various aspects of the Corporate Affairs Department, including strategic communications and events/activations
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the execution of the communications strategy, including local, regional, and international engagement and crisis communications - Oversee the execution of the communications strategy for the company , its c-suite, including the development and implementation of communications campaigns and events, concept development, writing, liaising with third party suppliers and media, key stakeholder communications, and events logistics and production - Draft and/or review all internal and external communications collateral and materials, including but not limited to the daily media monitor, briefing notes to senior leadership, press releases etc. - Conduct due diligence to identify information and situations that may pose a reputational risk or threat - Execute the events and communications portions of company \'s signature portfolio - Steward public profile including the website - Maintain corporate identity collateral, both internal and external, including organizational website, intranet, stationary, gifts, etc. - Design and oversee staff engagement activities including weekly town hall meetings, annual away days, periodic celebrations, gifts, etc.
Requirements:
- 15+ years\' experience in program management, communications, events, public relations, and / or corporate communications - Demonstrable experience in managing engagement with stakeholders at the senior government / ministerial level - Demonstrable success in project leadership - Demonstrable success working in a culturally diverse setting
