Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and professional Head Cashier to join our fantastic team. The ideal candidate is responsible for overseeing the front-end operations of the store, including supervising cashier staff, ensuring excellent customer service, managing cash registers, and maintaining accurate financial transactions. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

:

Oversee all front-end cashier staff to ensure accurate and efficient checkout procedures. Maintain daily cash records and ensure reconciliation of the cash register at day end. Prepare cash summaries and reports for the finance department. Monitor cash drawers and ensure proper cash handling procedures. Train new cashiers on POS systems, transaction policies, and customer service standards. Ensure adherence to company policies on returns, refunds, and security protocols.
Handle refunds, exchanges, and voids in accordance with store policies.

Assist in opening and closing procedures of the store.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar dual role is preferred.

Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar supervisory role.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic accounting software.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

Trustworthy and capable of managing cash with integrity.
