Job Description
Position Overview:
The Head Cashier is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cashiering team in a high-traffic retail hypermarket. This role ensures accurate cash handling, excellent customer service, and efficient checkout processes, while also supporting training, scheduling, and performance management of front-end staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the cashier team, ensuring smooth and efficient checkout operations. Train, schedule, and evaluate cashiers to maintain high customer service standards. Manage daily cash handling procedures, including reconciliation, deposits, and reporting. Resolve customer queries and issues promptly and professionally. Ensure compliance with all company policies and cash handling protocols. Monitor point-of-sale systems (POS) and escalate any technical issues.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory cashier role in retail. Strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in POS systems and basic accounting principles. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus. Candidates must be currently based in the UAE or willing to relocate.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
