Head Cashier
Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Head Cashier. The Head Cashier will oversee the cash handling operations, supervise cashier staff, and ensure excellent customer service at the checkout counters. If you have strong leadership skills, a background in retail or cashiering, and a commitment to providing a positive shopping experience, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the cash registers and checkout areas. Supervise and train cashier staff on proper cash handling procedures, customer service standards, and store policies. Assign tasks and responsibilities to cashier staff and monitor their performance and productivity. Ensure cashiers are accurately processing transactions, handling returns, and resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner. Balance cash drawers and reconcile receipts at the end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations effectively and escalate issues to management as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout counters and surrounding areas.
