When you think of food delivery in the MENA region, we’d be pretty surprised if talabat didn’t pop into your mind first! Since delivering our first order in Kuwait in 2004, we’ve grown quite a lot over the past 17 years. Today, we deliver hundreds of millions of food orders, grocery items and other products per year, to our customers in nine countries throughout the region with more than 3,000+ employees! Our food delivery business works with over 27,000 brands and almost 50,000 branches, while our q-commerce concept, talabat mart, now delivers groceries to customers in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman Qatar, and the UAE in 30 minutes or less! What’s On Your Plate?
  • Forecasting, monitoring, and driving key performance metrics across countries or objectives
  • Identifying opportunities for growth, efficiency, and problematic areas through performing analysis, and addressed with creating action plans and coordinating/project managing execution across the region
  • Strategize and plan a comprehensive approach to winning over customers in existing & new markets.
  • Understand cohorts and competitor behaviour across different markets to inform our approach.
  • Execute end to end campaigns from establishing the strategy to campaign execution, liaising with relevant teams, measurement and reporting, ensuring clear communication throughout each step of the process.
  • Analyse business performance, potential opportunities and competitor activity to drive data backed decision making.
  • Imbed yourself in the business to intimately understand our operations and appreciate the interaction between marketing activities and what happens on the ground.
  • Liaise with relevant departments in Regional & Country Teams to communicate ideas, plans & requirements
  • Assist in the coordination of ad-hoc growth projects - be willing to tackle anything!
What Did We Order?
  • You have 5+ years of experience in consumer marketing, e-commerce, online services, or related industries.
  • You have a proven record of delivering work with measurable results, on time and on budget.
  • Has in-depth knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Works independently; receives minimal guidance
  • Leads projects or project steps within a broader project or has accountability for ongoing activities or objectives
  • Able to interact with senior-level executives and can manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders.
  • Has excellent analytical and communication skills, and always likes to be hands-on with several tools.
  • Expert in PowerPoint and Excel / G-Suite
  • SQL experience is a plus
