The Assistant Manager - FP&A Digital Technology supports the Group Director in delivering strategic financial planning and performance reporting (short and long term) for DP World's global technology capabilities and service offerings. These efforts directly align with the organisation's broader digital strategy.
This role plays a key part in generating detailed insights into the financial performance of DP World's business and technology units globally. The reporting produced will serve as a critical tool for executive leadership--both regional and global--in making informed decisions related to Digital and Group Technology.
Serving as a bridge between financial insight and technological advancement, the role contributes to automation, process efficiency, and data accuracy.
Beyond reporting, the Assistant Manager will actively support (and at times lead) strategic initiatives and projects aimed at improving performance--working closely with cross-functional commercial and operational teams. Collaboration with Group Finance is essential to ensure consistent, timely, and policy-aligned reporting by regional finance teams.
This role is focused on management reporting and does not involve statutory reporting.
Key Accountabilities
Deliver monthly management financial reports for Digital and Group Technology that are aligned with strategic objectives and presented in a clear, consistent framework
Support continuous improvement of financial reporting systems for global technology operations (Oracle/SAP) and processes
Contribute to the design and execution of budgeting and forecasting processes
Act as a strategic finance partner to Group Technology leadership, regional teams, and Group Finance--providing visibility and aiding executive decision-making
Promote a consistent approach to digital financial processes across business verticals (Logistics, P&T, Marine, etc.)
Support finance process automation and internal control enhancements to strengthen reporting accuracy
Support the creation of business cases and data-driven analysis for key technology investments and initiatives
Foster adoption of digital platforms across FP&A and provide training to team members.
Support special projects and ad hoc analysis as required
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, CIMA)
Preferred: Certifications in data analytics or digital tools
2+ years of FP&A/finance experience focused on digital finance or technology transformation
Deep knowledge of Oracle EPBCS
Experience with system implementation or optimisation
Experience with change management and stakeholder management
Financial modelling expertise
Proactive mindset with a focus on driving efficiency and innovation
