We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mix Grill Maker to prepare a variety of grilled dishes including meats, seafood, and vegetables. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with grilling techniques, seasoning, marination, and maintaining food quality and hygiene standards. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and delicious food is served to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, marinate, and grill assorted meats (chicken, lamb, beef, etc.), seafood, and vegetables.
Monitor grill temperatures and cooking times to ensure food is cooked safely and to the desired level.
Follow recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure consistent quality and taste.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the grilling station and ensure safe food handling at all times.
Keep track of inventory levels for grill items and notify management of shortages.
Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely food preparation and service.
Ensure all grills, tools, and equipment are cleaned and maintained daily.
Suggest improvements or new menu items based on customer preferences and trends.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a grill chef, BBQ cook, or in a similar role.
Knowledge of marination techniques, meat handling, and grilling methods.
Ability to manage multiple orders and work under pressure during peak hours.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment.
Team player with strong communication and time management skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
