Job Purpose:

To lead and drive industry specific product offerings and solutions. Develop overall thought leadership in the vertical and to replicate solutions and best practices across customers and regions.

Key Accountabilities:

Develop and Implement Vertical Strategy

• Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in the Health sector, particularly in supply chain management
• Develop and implement logistics and supply chain strategies that align with business objectives and meet the unique needs of the vertical, including new sub-verticals, products and solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, solution engineering, capabilities, regions, to develop and execute vertical strategies that support business objectives while developing thought leadership in the sector
• Work with market research and consultants to develop comprehensive business cases for investment decisions around sub-verticals

Develop fit for purpose end-to-end solutions

• Analyse logistics data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction. Conduct audits, develop and implement corrective action plans.
• Work with solution engineering team to develop vertical solutions product to drive through leadership and sales

Support Key account management of the respective vertical

• Play role of subject matter expert with KAM team to assist in offering E2E solutions for customers
• Assist vertical lead in overall coordination and management of key account teams

Push thought Leadership of the respective vertical

• Conduct training and educational sessions for stakeholders to promote understanding of vertical solutions, and practices relevant to the vertical\'s supply chain.
• Organize customer events including customer advisory panels and seminars. Represent the vertical at industry conferences and present on relevant topics which showcase DP World capabilities in the vertical sector.
• Work with marketing and communications to develop distinct collaterals and PR to highlight vertical solution offering

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• 10+ years working experience related to the scope of responsibilities specified above. Bachelor\'s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on developing and implementing logistics strategies in the Health industry and related sectors.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful logistics and supply chain strategies that contribute to business growth and profitability.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large amounts of data related to technology supply chain operations.
• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex logistics concepts to non-logistics stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience implementing Lean methodology and driving continuous improvement across operations.
• Familiarity with logistics technology, including transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems commonly used in the technology industry.
