Job Description

Job Purpose:

To support construction activities by assisting skilled workers, maintaining site cleanliness, handling materials, and performing basic tasks to ensure smooth project operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist skilled workers such as masons, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and welders as needed. Carry, load, and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment on site. Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up materials. Mix cement, sand, and other construction materials as instructed. Perform basic manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, cutting, and shifting materials. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the worksite at all times. Follow safety instructions and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Support warehouse/storage arrangement of tools and materials. Assist in repairing and maintaining hand tools and equipment. Follow project supervisor or foreman instructions for daily tasks.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience in construction (preferred but not required) Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision Team player with positive attitude and willingness to learn Basic understanding of workplace safety

Work Environment:

Outdoor construction sites Exposure to heat, dust, and noise Requires physical effort and standing for long periods

Note:

Training and PPE will be provided by company. Candidate must be willing to work flexible hours or shifts depending on project requirements.
