Cost Accountant with General Accounting experience
to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience in both cost and general accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Accounting:
Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare cost reports
Monitor cost variances and recommend corrective actions
Maintain cost sheets and assist in pricing strategies
Conduct inventory valuation and physical stock audits
Prepare standard cost and margin analysis
General Accounting:
Handle day-to-day accounting tasks and journal entries
Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts
Assist in monthly and annual closings
Prepare and submit VAT returns and compliance reports
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Support audits by providing necessary documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3-4 years of relevant experience in the UAE
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software or Focus
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and VAT regulations in the UAE
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
