Job Summary: The Food and Beverages General Accountant is responsible for managing all financial transactions related to the food and beverage sector, ensuring compliance with ZATCA regulations, VAT filings, and accurate financial reporting. This role involves overseeing purchases, sales, payroll, and tax compliance, ensuring financial integrity and efficiency in operations. Key Responsibilities: Financial Transactions: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, and payroll. ZATCA & VAT Compliance: Ensure timely VAT filings and compliance with **Saudi Arabian Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA)** regulations. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage vendor payments, customer invoices, and reconciliation of accounts. Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll calculations, deductions, and timely salary disbursement. Inventory & Cost Control: Track food and beverage inventory, analyze cost trends, and optimize financial efficiency. Bank Reconciliation: Monitor and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy in financial records. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Audit & Compliance: Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to financial regulations. Budgeting & Forecasting: Support financial planning by analyzing revenue, expenses, and profitability. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of **ZATCA regulations, VAT laws, and payroll processing. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic insights.
