Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and reliable Accountant with 3 years of experience in UAE-based accounting practices. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with local regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Maintain and update accounting records, including ledgers and journals.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor account balances.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including follow-ups on overdue accounts.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other regulatory reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
- Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software Zoho and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
