Key Responsibilities
Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reconciliations.
Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
Monitor cash flow and update cash/bank positions regularly.
Review vendor bills and prepare payments on time.
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and submit VAT returns.
Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation.
Coordinate with internal departments for financial information.
Maintain proper filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications and Requirements
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and VAT laws.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Odoo, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills in English.
