. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting daily accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage
accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare
invoices
, billing statements, and payment schedules
Perform
bank reconciliations
and general ledger reconciliations
Handle
cost accounting
related to shipments, freight charges, and logistics operations
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Assist with
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Monitor
inventory and shipment-related expenses
Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Collaborate with the logistics team to verify charges, shipments, and documentation
Other accounting duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
1-3 years of Accounting experience
(Shipping & Logistics experience is an advantage)
Strong knowledge of AP/AR processes and reconciliations
Proficiency in accounting software (
QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle
, or similar)
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Good communication and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
