Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive General Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your expertise will facilitate informed decision-making and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with IFRS Manage the month-end closing process, including reconciliations of accounts and resolving discrepancies Perform detailed account analysis and prepare supporting documentation for audits Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve processes and compliance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and providing actionable recommendations Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations
Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting ERP software (e.g., 1C:Enterprise, SAP, or equivalent) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred:

Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Knowledge of financial reporting systems and internal controls Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
