Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
General Accountant
to manage day-to-day financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience, preferably within theFacilities Management (FM)
industry, and hold aMaster's degree in Accounting or Finance
.Key Responsibilities :
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliation reports Manage accounts payable and receivable processes Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow forecasts Monitor budget utilization and report variances Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other statutory requirements Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as needed Support payroll, billing, and bank reconciliation processes Implement and maintain internal accounting controls and procedures
Requirements :
Minimum
5 years of relevant accounting experience
Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong understanding of accounting principles and IFRS Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems) Advanced MS Excel skills and strong analytical ability Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines Experience in theFacilities Management industry
